David Wang

David Wang began painting when he was 12 years old and completed his art education at the ''Beijing Education College'' in China. His skills as a fine artist were applied to the industry on the highest level when he designed and created an exhibit of the Terra-cotta Army from the Forbidden City. He received two first prizes at the Beijing Art Exhibition, and several articles were written about his work in The Beijing Evening Times.

In 1988, David became a visiting scholar to The United States, before joining Walt Disney Feature Animation in Florida. During his 12 years with Disney, he worked as a Visual Concept and Background artist for feature animated films such as Pocahontas, Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch and Brother Bear.

David's paintings have competed in many exhibitions, including the "Arts for the parks" National competition, where two landscape paintings finished in the top 100 in 2002 and one in 2003. He was also an Artists' Magazine portraits competition finalist in 1999. Many of his artworks are owned by private collectors.

David now is full-time painter, working at his studio in Orlando Florida.
